Rebecca is a beauty without makeup, so that made my job as the wedding makeup artist relatively easy! (Although I should admit that should I?)
She first came for a trial with her mum and few weeks before her wedding. We had a good chat and got to know one another so that on the day she was completely at ease and relaxed.
She got ready at her Mum’s house in Ambleside, had her ceremony at Rydal Church with the wedding reception at The Merewood Hotel.
Rebecca requested a natural makeup look, but with a flawless finish and decided to try the airbrush wedding makeup. This is when I use an airgun to apply the foundation, it’s great because you can go as heavy or as light as you like as slowly do layers.
For her eyes, I used a Mac brown pallets, Mac Fluid Eyeliner gel applied with an makeup brush. Nars blusher and a subtle Nars contour powder on the cheek bone. A mac highlighter beneath the eyes. A Mac lipstick in Syrup and then Mac Fixing spray to hold it all in place. Finally I added individual eye lashes, which really make the eyes stand out, but are extremely natural and subtle.
