Looking after your skin is essential for the perfect wedding makeup. My dream bride will exfoliate regularly and moisturise day and night, and also use an eye cream! Hint hint!
If you are new to skincare, it’s never too late.
Fist consider, what are your skin concerns?
For example:
- Reducing acne?
- Increasing collagen or elastin?
- Hydration?
If you have ‘normalish’ skin, I would recommend before your trial regular exfoliation and lots of moisturiser. However if you have more specific concerns, why not take the time to get some proper advice and products tailored to your needs.
Google gives the following advice:
The key to a perfect bridal diet for glowing skin is to cut off salt, dairy, sugar, bread and oily food. Instead stock up on fresh fruits, vegetables and leafy greens which are rich in vitamins and minerals; these increase cell turnover and help keep your skin supple.
But let’s be realistic, can you follow that diet? I know I couldn’t. So a more doable goal is to up your water intake. Stay as hydrated as possible. I promise that you will see a change in your skin.
